I thought there was no topping the lust for last season's metallic Burberry Prorsum trench coats, but like always I was wrong.
Christopher Bailey is undeniably a genius. He is able to pinpoint exactly what women want, while making it look entirely effortless. This collection is feminine and playful but not in a way we have seen a million times. The lines silhouettes are perfection. The sheer almost rubber like material that is seen adds a modern edge to cutesy heart patterns.
A natural makeup and hair look out the focus exactly where it should be, on the clothes. The muted color scheme kept everything light and looking polished. This show felt like a breath of fresh air amongst the dark smog previous shows have left behind.
Burberry is classic for a reason. 👌

What my alter ego would wear
It has come to my attention that I have started an obsession with skirts. Most of my childhood I couldn't stand to wear something so girly. Now I find myself fawning over any length of skirt that comes down the runway. I read something via Style.com about this being the season of a dark cheerleader. A large amount of pleated skirts have been seen so far as well as more gothic color schemes. I think this only peaked my obsession, a moody slightly evil cheerleader? Sounds right up my alley, and very much a role Winona Ryder could have played.
