I'm determined to appreciate going home for a little this summer. I am going to go to the beach whether I want it or not.

Dressing to the Nin3

   

 The pressure for young designers is reaching it's highest point. It is impossible for someone to enter this industry without some sort of speculation. I'm not exactly one to talk as a fashion journalist in the making, I admit to being a part of the problem. When you are able to find a new designer unfazed by the judgmental smog of the fashion community, it's inspiring. In the case of the young brand NIN3 by Devon Leigh and Sideara St. Claire, we are blessed with two fearless faces.

     

 This is true girl power any Spice Girls fan could appreciate. The girls have started their collection off with a powerful trio of T's. My favorite thing about the shirts are the endless interpretations they hold. The meaning differs depending on the wearer, pure effortless individuality. A very wise philosophy for such young designers. The duo explain who they are designing for by stating, "A 9 girl is any being who embodies NIN3 by holding the ability to recognize the vast darkness but choose only to proceed towards the endless light". Pretty poetic if I do say so.

Their designs embody independence, confidence, and individuality. So shake what your momma gave you in some NIN3, don't hold anything back!

OOTD

It's a big exam day for me so I'll take any form of clothing that could pass for pajamas. My old cut-up BB King shirt always does the trick, it has become a second skin for me over the years. Some car mar jeans about two sizes two big act as sweatpants, and look pretty cool with JC Coltranes. Throw on a furry jacket, and I'm off.

Not to mention this wonderful Free People bralette I'm diggin. It's perfect for those of us who can't exactly go bra-less but can't stand to wear a bra on the daily. Do you follow?

Did someone say coffee?

My roommate and I recently acquired some Dunkin Donuts coconut coffee. Please do not judge. The aroma is pure heaven, I'm sent straight to a Hawaiian paradise. I can almost feel the sand beneath my toes, or possibly just the tingle your body receives after 3 strong cups.
Either way, I'm hooked. I'm back on my productive kick, so be ready to hear lots more from me!

Hair Halp

I need someone to tell me how I can turn my poopy colored mess into the locks of Queen Drew.
Anyone??

I hate to be the girl that complains about her hair, I'm pretty lucky to have a thick head of hair. My biggest issue is its color. My hair is a mood ring, no joke. Every day a new shade. Blackish, brown, light brown, auburn, sometimes highlights, sometimes not.... I can't handle it anymore!
There's gotta be a cure. A cure on a budget please.

LV ~Louis Very late

I've been holding back on my thoughts on the Louis Vuitton show. Why you ask? I have no idea, probably the fact that I assume I will do it tomorrow every night. Oops!
Alas, it is never too late to say this show was absolute perfection. A continuation of the pajama slumberland Marc is currently living was brought to the classic brand. Everything about it oozed luxury. Silk, fur, and lace with a dash of Kate Moss. That is a dream come true if you ask me. I found myself practically drooling over the fluffy handbags and floral nightgown dresses. It's girly in a way only Louis Vuitton can get away with.
The second I finished viewing the show I started imagining possible editorials the collection will bring. Oh and the ads! It's going to be breathtaking, let me assure you.
I would be willing to go broke for any of these pieces.
